Paul Taylor, president and CEO of Mortgage Professionals Canada gave a great interview about the changes recently implemented by chmc (on of our default insurers in canada that allows people to purchase with less than 20% down). We have 2 other default insurers in Canada ...Genworth Canada and Canada Guaranty. Of course we are in such a different market than Toronto to BC...our housing is one of the lowest cost in the country and when you look at the cost of renting versus owing a home (within your means) why wouldn't you invest in your future..as that is also what home ownership is...an asset..a future investment. sorry ...I feel like I have been neglectful of my Facebook page but the market has been on fire...what is new ..well the qualifying rate for applications was lowered from 4.94 to 4.79 ...but the biggest news is the rates being offered today..wow..who would have thought we would be getting rates so low today. call me to discuss 506-961-4905.
