JUNE COVID19 UPDATE - We are OPENish! After switching our software over, we are now able to do ONLINE assessments, check ups and annual reviews. If a modification or casting is needed, these will be done in person at the clinic. The clinic looks COVID19 weirdish, with some plexiglass barriers, signs instructing people how to wash their hands, hand sanitizer in key spots, everyone in the clinic will be wearing a mask and all you will smell is disinfectant (maybe better than f...eet?!). That's just how we're going to roll, indefinitely. If you know me, you know that I strive to make everyone feel comfortable and get to know each and every patient. These things may make it feel a little less 'warm' in the clinic, but right now, my main concern is the health of you and me, simply put. Please don't let the changes alter your comfort level in the clinic. With this said, if there is something that would make YOU feel more comfortable, ASK! I'm happy to navigate this with you. BIG NEWS! I've just launched the online booking portion of the software (click BOOK NOW at the top of this page). The schedule is up, there may be some bumps along the road, but we'll figure it out together. I just want to THANK our patients for being so patient and understanding. Foot FAQ/ Fact Friday Q: What should I wear on my feet around the house? A: Proper support around the house is important when you are walking or standing for ...long periods of time, especially with hard floors! This support can be achieved in a few different ways. Sandals with a supportive footbed can be worn around the house. There are lots of different brands with built-in support. If you require support from a custom foot orthotic, there are sandals available with a removeable footbed. If you prefer something warmer for your feet, find a slipper with a removeable insert for a custom foot orthotic or an over the counter insert. You can also use a walking or running shoe, and for maximum support, use your custom foot orthotic or an over the counter insert with it. For more information visit www.pedorthic.ca/

COVID19 Update - Unfortunately, foot pain doesn’t stop because there is a pandemic. If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me with questions. We are still currently closed . I am able to order and deliver footwear and compression socks (if you’ve been recently measured). If you have purchased orthotics within the last year or two, I may still have casts and may be able to repress another pair of orthotics if needed. ... I am in the process of converting my software over to be able to do video assessments. For the time being, most assessments will be done via video. Obviously the entire assessment cannot be completed by video, but will decrease the amount of time needed to be face to face. Face to face assessments will be completed once it is safe to do so. With this said, if you are experiencing foot or leg pain, and would like to schedule an assessment, please call text or email to inquire or book. On a personal note, I really miss work, as I’m sure many of us do (but maybe some don’t!). I’m really enjoying the time with my family, but miss being able to help people.
