WISDOM vs REASON Reason can be achieved without wisdom. But wisdom is the truth that stands despite all reason.... How many times have you reasoned yourself out of something but it was totally not the wise thing to do? Many times. We can reason fear into our decisions. And we think that this is called "being wise". Wisdom is higher. It is divine. True wisdom is not mere human. It is the sum of all the universal laws and principles. It is greater than whatever excuse, reasoning, and beliefs we may have. "Wisdom is the most valuable commodityso buy it! Revelation knowledge is what you needso invest in it!" ~ Proverb 4:7

RELAXATION I took a little break from posting here the last week. Sometimes, that is the best thing to do! ... I needed to focus on recharging, unplugging , not think too much...you know how it goes. Back it my college days, I hated phys ed so I took Tai Chi and Relaxation...and swimming since we grew up with a pool at our home and I love being in water. Tai Chi was given by this teacher who was real serious about it. The irony is that he was so intense about going slow Relaxation class, well...to be completely honest with you, was an excuse for me to sleep longer as I was one of those who liked social happenings at night from Wednesday through Saturday...hey, those student grants helped for something! (The emoticons say it all! Lol) Now, to my kids reading this...THAT WAS THE WRONG THINGS TO DO! For my health and my $$! Little did I know that years later I would go back to meditation and relaxation to really help me get back to a calmer state. This was this past week. I don't have time or space to write about all the details of how it has helped me, but prayer with meditation are renewing me. I am the type who tends to live a little too much in the future, skims through the past, and the present, it is not very present. I am being totally honest with you here. And when you live this way, consciously or unconsciously, it affects everything in your life. Including your physical state...and your digestion...I believe that is what triggered the SIBO last year, now that I am looking back. When you are faitgued, exhausted, overworked, it puts strain on your endocrinal system first, then on other body systems. When you hold a grudge or stay stressed, or are not true to yourself and others, live in regrets and unforgiveness...it affects your mind health and eventually you physical health (and relationships as well). You see the cycle? Meditation and prayer allow you to be in the present for whatever amount of time you desire, take a certain control back of your mind and body, and allow God to show you His wisdom...to release whatever care you have to Him, and empty that "mind plate of worries". Be present! Pray! Meditate! Relax!
