Why project management software is CRITICAL to running a business? A PM (project management) tool has many benefits but the main thing it helps you do is get ORGANIZED! You've heard of Marie Kondo? Yeah, that woman and I are like the same person. Tidying up your online office is key to your sanity, increasing task completion, and getting a handle on the big picture. I use Asana for my business but have worked with Trello and Teamwork. They all have similar features and it co...mes down to which one feels the most intuitive. I chose Asana because I like the layout and tool integrations like time tracking with clockify). I maintain a Day-to-Day project where my team and I keep daily operations. We then have projects for Marketing, Sales, and Delivery. Take Action: Get Asana and build a day-to-day project then add a task list with everything you have in your head right now. Share how you feel with me in the comments below once you're done!

Need a domain or website hosting? I did too when I started up this business. Originally, I started with Weebly, but after a few months realized the limitations and decided to move over to WordPress via Bluehost. Having used HostGator before, Bluehost is SO much easier to navigate and their tech support was amazing (read: fast) when my email stopped working! I definitely recommend BlueHost if you're looking to start a new site or change hosting providers. I have been happy wi...th them since day 1! I like Bluehost so much, I am now an affiliate partner! You can use my link to sign up or share with those you think need awesome hosting: www.bluehost.com/track/katieobm/ Affiliate means two things; 1) I do get a small commission for referring people and 2) I get extra insider training on their system so I can teach and share the power of their platform. Have questions? Send a DM, comment below or email me [email protected]!

So, you need some help and want to hire a virtual team member to free up some of your precious time. Your first step is to determine what KIND of help you need because there are 2 main types of virtual workers; 1) VA's or virtual assistants and 2) OBM's or Online Business Managers If your business is still small with just a few clients if you’re still handling things pretty well but just need another brain and pair of hands to take some stuff off your plate, hire a VA. That ...will free up enough time to allow you to focus on the big picture and manage your operations yourself. - VAs are do-ers. They carry out tasks and make shit happen with the help of detailed instructions. - VAs work on a task basis and are responsible for completing their work on time and to a professional standard, but they have a safety net of higher-level guidance to catch them when they fall. - VAs are team members and are usually responsible for an OBM or business owner. - VAs get things done without having much control over workflow or priorities. - VAs usually work for an hourly fee and have multiple clients in order to fill their schedule and earn a good living. If your business is small but growing rapidly or you have the capacity and desire to expand, an OBM by your side can take things to the next level. - OBMs are project managers. They come up with the strategy for how to get things done and then parcel out tasks to their team. - OBM's are responsible for the daily operations of the whole business, or for the entirety of a project which includes the work of other team members. - OBM's LEAD a team, often including VAs, web designers, writers, and social media experts. - OBM's work with the biz owner to discuss strategy and priorities. - OBM's work more deeply with a few select clients and are compensated on a per-project, monthly retainer, or retainer+incentive basis. Who do you need on your team? https://buff.ly/3gZVePj
