Crocus Love There are sooooo many more crocus blooms out now!
First Prairie Crocus April 3, 2020 - I was thrilled find these delicate wildflowers blooming under the morning sun at the top of the Qu'Appelle Valley yesterday - lying down on the ground with my camera to capture these beauties is one of my favourite things to do in the spring Happy Easter everyone!
Spiralling Aurora on Saturday night 11:10pm, March 13, 2021 - The new moon on Saturday created a perfect dark backdrop for watching the northern lights perform. Mystical meaning behind the spiral - it symbolizes the energy of the cosmos... #auroraborealis #longexposure
Last night’s Worm Moon rising & First Supermoon of 2021 - Shot on the outskirts of the Qu’Appelle Valley. I thought I'd share two croppings of the same photo...I couldn't decide which was my favourite
March Aurora Another capture from last week, but in this shot I had my lovely assistant, lol husband, shine a flashlight on the bin in the foreground. We did this for only a handful of shots, but I really like the depth it adds to the images

Taking in the beauty of the Aurora March 2, 2021 - Thanks to my hubby for coming along for the light show
Epic Aurora - March 2, 2021 - 11pm Tuesday night’s northern lights put on a spectacular show! They danced and swirled with bursts of pink I’ve never seen before
Hazy shade of winter

Unique Saskatchewan Sunrise Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me - one benefit from the extremely cold weather we've been having are the sun pillars that are created which are absolutely stunning to see stretching up like a flame into our wide open prairie sky. I couldn't decide which image was my favourite...the zoomed in shot or the zoomed out shot. Feel free to comment on your fave!
Esterhazy Cross Country Ski Trails My family and I have had many cross country ski outings & fat bike rides this winter on the trails at the Esterhazy Cross Country Ski Club thanks to some great weather and snow conditions. We are so grateful to have such an amazing trail system so close to town. Here are a couple captures of the beautiful hoarfrost out at the trails a couple of days ago.
