Good evening! We have some availability for Canada Day if anyone is in need of boarding or daycare. And if you need some Canada Day gear for your pooch, we have FREE Canada Day bandanas, bow ties or collar flowers!!! Just send us a message to arrange pickup at the kennel :)

Hello everyone! Now that things are slowly opening up and people are getting back to work, we have decided that Kato’s Clubhouse will reopen for daycare and boarding effective June 1st! Woohoo! We have put measures in place to ensure we are practicing social distancing:... Drop off & pickup will be by appointment only Daycare/boarding documents will be emailed to be filled out and returned electronically Upon arrival dog(s) will need to be placed in an outdoor run by owner and leashes removed. We will use our own leashes to take the dog(s) into the building Please limit the amount of family members coming into the kennel to 1 or 2 people. Extra disinfecting measures will be in place between clients Payment via etransfer is preferred (before dog(s) leave the kennel) We hope everyone is healthy and staying safe!

DOGGY DAYCARE! So we’ve had a few inquires about daycare so I thought I’d make a post to let people know the details! Kato’s Clubhouse does NOT offer group play. While many facilities do we feel the risk of injury is too high to be worth it! While your pup may be social and love playing usually, sometimes in a new environment with strangers and strange dogs, behaviours change (even between siblings!).... So that being said, without group play what does your dog do here during the day? Individual outside play! Lots of potty breaks Individual inside play and cuddles with me! Breakfast/lunch/supper can be fed if they are here during usual meal times Enrichment add ons like walks, stuffed kongs, raw bones, snuffle mats or snuffle treat balls can all be added to make the day exciting! Napping!! One of a dogs favourite pastimes *(And soon I’ll be taking a training course so training sessions can be added on too!!)* $15/day for 1 dog, $25/day for 2
