Canada Revenue now allows you to make payments from your bank account, just like paying any other bill. Ask your bank about it.

Rental property falls into the same category as small businesses, meaning they don't have to file until June 30th.

The same rule applies to spouses of small businesses, they have until June 30th to file.

People with small business's need to pay if they owe but don't need to file their income taxes until June 15th.

It is that time again. To all employers - your T4's have to be in the mail by February 28th.

Beware of bogus emails saying to download tax debt from Canada Revenue. You will never be asked to download from your mail. CRA will send you and email to go to your "My Account" not to download anything. Check the email address that it is sent from - mine was sent from a personal email address.

Okay all you small businesses, it is time to get your stuff together, June 15th is closer than it looks!

Make sure you notify Canada Revenue when your marital status changes, if you wait until tax time you may have to repay a portion of the GST rebate and/or the Ontario Trillium.
