UPDATED: return to work protocol has been approved! Almost ready. Hello everyone, Hope you all are keeping well and are finding ways to stay healthy and happy during these difficult times. These past couple months have a been a whirlwind to say the least and I am looking forward to some of these restrictions being lifted!... That being said, this isn’t as simple as we would like. It was recently announced by Dr Strang that RMTS would be allowed to start work June 5th, however, he did not mention that the Massage Therapy Return to Work protocols have not been finalized and approved. So we have just been patiently waiting for the details on how will be able to return to work as safely as possible. Once that is completed- which should be very soon- I can then properly prepare to start back! I will be contacting clients about scheduling when there is an opening date but feel free to send me a message as well to be put on the waiting list. Again, I will be working between my Wentworth location and Tatamagouche (Natural Route Massage Therapy). I look forward to seeing you all again and giving you much needed treatments. And I really appreciate all of the kind messages from clients who are excited to get back their massage routine!! Thank you

Hey everyone, Hope you are keeping well and being safe. This is a very tough and uncertain time but just know that you are not alone. Social distancing feels very unnatural to us as humans but we need to all do our part in flattening the curve. In the meantime try to only read articles from reputable outlets and keep updated through the government websites. We are all in this together I am off work till further notice, I will contact clients when business is back to usual. I’ll miss all you amazing clients!! Take care.

Great news I am now open for business at both locations for massage therapy! Natural Route Massage Therapy in Tatamagouche, and my office in the Wentworth Learning Centre. Things will look alittle different as we are following all protocols laid out by Health Officials. We are doing everything we can to offer you a safe and relaxing environment. We will be starting with those clients whose appointments we had to cancel due to the mandatory closure. We did receive a lot of messages already so thank you! Please be patient as it may be a little bit before we will be able to fit everyone in. Please read the guidelines to know what to expect when you do return. Amy, Katy, Haylee New Guidelines for Natural Route Massage Therapy Welcome back to Natural Route Massage Therapy! We are very excited to be re-opening and would like to inform you of the new guidelines we must follow to keep you the client safe. These guidelines have been set by our Massage Therapists Association of Nova Scotia and have been approved by the government of Nova Scotia. When you book your appointment you will complete a COVID-19 screening survey. When you arrive for your appointment please wait in your vehicle until we wave, text, or call you in. Let us know which you would prefer. When you enter the clinic you will complete the COVID-19 screening survey again. We will document your response and if you answer yes to any of the questions you will be asked to reschedule and contact 811. You will proceed to the washroom to wash your hands and then go directly to your treatment room. After your massage, you will wash your hands again before paying and rescheduling. If you are feeling unwell the day of your massage you must cancel. There will be no cancellation fee for this. All therapists will be screened daily for COVID-19 symptoms and if we are feeling unwell the day of your appointment we will cancel and reschedule. Please be on time for your appointment. We will need time between clients to thoroughly clean and disinfect the treatment rooms, waiting area, washroom as well as any shared surfaces between each client. If you are late we will have to end your treatment at the scheduled time and you will be responsible for the full payment. We will do our best to be on time. We will wear a mask for the duration of your massage and at times when we are unable to maintain a distance of 6ft. It is highly recommended that you wear a mask during your massage. Please bring your own mask of any type(homemade, medical). There will be hand sanitizer available in the waiting area and each treatment room but hand washing is best. There will be no shared surfaces i.e. water cooler, magazines, candy. Please bring your own water if you need it. If you have any further questions please let us know.
