Member Projects: President Bill Windsor, along with Sharon McEachern have been busy the last few months working on their recently acquired 1920 International 8-16 tractor. This tractor has been stripped to a bare frame then slowly painted and put back together. The decals really finish it off! Great Job Bill and Sharon and thank you for sharing!

Project one in the shop currently is a 1955 farmall 300, bought in the fall in the process of getting it running. Project to is a 1962 international 560w diesel. Needs a new head gasket. Project 4 is 1947 farmall A for a full motor rebuild and last but not least project 5 our 1980 international 686 diesel in for a complete clutch and torque amplifier replacement

As we near a full month since what would have been our show, we generally would be posting our photos that were taken throughout the weekend. Since this is not possible this year, please enjoy these photographs that have been taken over the years at Kawartha Antique Power! Have a picture of your own from a past show? Comment it down below to share for everyone to see!
If this was a normal year, the KAP members and directors would currently be working hard and diligently at the fairgrounds to put together the final touches of the 2020 show in order to ensure the best possible experience for our guests throughout this weekend. Having cancelled this year, we are all saddened by the thought of not being able to spend the weekend together putting on an amazing show for you. We look forward to having everyone back next year when the world is a little calmer. Until then, be sure to drag out your old iron and antiques and enjoy them this weekend in celebration of what should have been our 42nd show. Feel free to post your videos and pictures of your collection in the comments section for everyone to see. Stay safe and healthy, Bill Windsor, KAP President
Statement in relation to The Kawartha Antique Power Heritage Show and Upcoming Meetings: In the current circumstances of the COViD-19 pandemic, Kawartha Antique Power has come to the difficult decision that it would not be in the Public Health interest to proceed with our Show this year. This decision to cancel this year’s event was not taken lightly, we have always been proud to be able to facilitate the Kawartha Antique Power Heritage Show no matter the weather or circumsta...nces, but the Public Health interest must be our key consideration. To all our patron, exhibitors and vendors we thank you for your support over the years and your understanding with the current circumstances. As a club we look forward to working with you in the future. We look forward to seeing everyone June 19th and 20th 2021. The feature for 2021 will be John Deere. Please also be advised that the April and May regular monthly meetings have been cancelled and the Annual General Meeting is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday July 21st at 7:30 pm at Peniel United Church. If you have any concerns or questions regarding this information, please do not hesitate to contact us through our Facebook page and we will provide you with the contact information of the appropriate director or chairperson.
