After opening Kawartha Community Midwives with Susan Howlett in 1995, Jaylene Mory has delivered hundreds of babies and been a huge part of our birthing community. On her last day as a Registered Midwife, please share your stories of Jaylene Mory. Have a happy and restful retirement Jaylene! We will miss you dearly. Lots of love as your start this new chapter of your life To celebrate Jaylene’s work we are hosting an Open House November 9, 2019 from 12-2pm in our clinic space. All are welcome to come and celebrate Jaylene’s retirement.

RSV season is upon us. Please do not kiss or touch a baby that is not your own. Parents, it is ok to tell someone not to touch or kiss your infant. You are not being rude, you are advocating for your infant who does not have a robust immune system yet.

Today is National Rainbow Baby Day. A day to honor all those who have lost a baby and to have joy (and mixed emotions) for their miracle babies after loss. Ra...inbows arrive after the storm To the parents who are hurting, we see you, mourn with you and we remember your baby.
