Meet LAURA Laura is the Office Manager at Kawartha Lakes Physiotherapy. She is the friendly face you will see at the front desk and the caring voice you will hear over the phone. Laura keeps everything running smoothly at the clinic, which if you know the procrastinators Sean and a Becka, this is not an easy task . ... Laura graduated with a diploma of Pharmacy Technician from the Ontario Business College. She began her career in the healthcare field at the Port Perry Medical Clinic and eventually transitioned into working in Clinical Administration. Laura has been working and continuing her education in clinical admin for 11 years now. We were so happy when Laura decided to join our team! When she is not laughing and having fun with us at work you can find her: vigorously loving her 3lbs long hair Chihuahua Finn; spending time with her family and friends; and hiking through Emily Park .

Social media is not our speciality (clearly) but we wanted to slowly introduce you to the valued members of the team at Kawartha Lakes Physiotherapy. Meet SEAN Sean is a Registered Physiotherapist and the founder of Kawartha Lakes Physiotherapy. Sean completed a Master’s in Applied Health Sciences (Kinesiology) at Brock University as well as a Master’s of Physiotherapy at McMaster University. ... He is very passionate about learning, research, and skill development. Currently, he is working through his National Orthopaedic Divsion Courses. Sean’s passion for learning makes the more complex symptom presentations his favourite ones. He is always up for a challenge! When Sean is not busy talking to the office staff about the physics behind a black hole you will probably find him: learning to speak French with his 5 year old daughter Dahlia; vigorously loving his Boston terrier Ruby ; or spending time outdoors.

WE'RE BAACK! Yesterday we received some great news that we can cautiously re-open the clinic to the public as of Monday June 01, 2020. This obviously comes with some concern due to the COVID-19 virus and we want to assure you that we will be taking all the necessary precautions and that the appropriate infection control protocols are in place to protect you. We will be doing everything we can to prevent the spread while we are treating you. As a result, there are a few i...Continue reading
