Congrats Barn & Bunkie and crew on your Grand Opening! The store is BEAUTIFUL! We were there early for a sneak peak and fresh candle dropoff. We’re baaaack! Well... we never left other than a serious social media break. With all things Covid turning our focus towards home, business, and farm felt best. Hi there! It’s me, Jenn (or Jenny, or Jennifer depending on how you know me) ready for an early morning pour! I rarely show my candle making face (especially with covid hair and brows ) but I am so grateful and thought you should see the girl behind the biz! I purchased Kawartha Candle Company in 2018 and it moved from Peterborough to our century farm north of Lindsay, ON. Not an easy choice as it was a staple in downtown Peterborough since 1999. We make our candles using th...e same method & recipes, and created a few new items as well. What I am most proud of is being able to provide premium candles at the best price point possible. Our classic Large Jars continue to be our #1 seller and still priced at $25 OR NOW 2/$45. Currently, we are pouring individual orders, and providing contactless drop-offs. The support from our candle lovers has been pouring in(see what I did there?) and the we are so grateful. Starting next week we are coordinating deliveries around the Kawartha’s and (possibly further out depending on the need).
