One of the nicest lady you will ever meet, who always has a smile on her face. who we have gotten to know over time has been diagnosed with a brain tumour after having seizures but she is being her positive upbeat optimistic self while she waits to have it removed... you got this Melissa We would like to help them out with fuel costs, food, parking fees and whatever they ne...ed during this time. Update on Covid-19. Here at Kawartha Import Automotive, we hope that we are all doing our part to help keep this virus slowed down. As of March 18th we have had a limited amount of staff to help us through this very difficult time in all of our lives. We have been put on the Essential workers list since this has begun and at this point in time we are still on the list to help. Our phones have really slowed down and very limited folks walking up to the door, which is locked un...til you knock on it and we will come to the door to help you. The shop is open by appointment only from Monday to Friday 8:00am till 5:00pm. We feel here at Kawartha Import Automotive that we will keep your vehicles running and safe to be on the road and that you can get to work, food or other essentials items that you need to survive through these very difficult time. Please call the Shop if you need anything 1-705-749-0555 ask for Joe or Kathy , or you can leave a message and we will call you back as soon as possible. With some of the other automotive suppliers and some dealerships being closed, getting parts for your vehicles will get more difficult. But we will do the best we can to help you though this. Morning to all the Automotive Owners and Technicians. I hope you share this with other techs. With the issues happening in our world right now. Some shops are ...not very busy, some are closed already, some doing emergency services only and some are staying open. This is a great time for Automotive technicians to do some on line training to better themselves when it comes to diagnosing those trouble tow in's or intermittent driviablitiy problems, Engine lights , scope testing and understanding your mulitmeters, fuel trims and many other things. I was just at a Napa course three weeks ago and the tech next to me said that he spends an extra 23 hours a week doing automotive training. As a business owner in this trade it was really amazing to here this. Yes he is still young in his thirties and cares about what he is doing and loves what he is doing. So if you are a tech and sitting at home and see this, click on some YouTube OTC training courses to learn some things that you as a tech need to work on to make you a better tech. I know your boss would probably love to here that you are doing some things to better yourself in this very technical Automotive industry. I see so many techs struggling to repair diagnostic issues. Please as a business owner this is the best time to do something about it.
