We accept cash, cheque and eTransfer as payment. We have many varieties available: Alfalfa, basswood, clover, goldenrod, wildflower, blueberry, buckwheat. 500 gm jars are $7.00, 1 kg jars are $13.00 (buckwheat is slightly more expensive). Our creamed honey is also available (its amazing!) We also have larger sizes (if you're at home baking like crazy these days). So.....you wanna be a beekeeper? Honeybees have received a lot of media attention over the last few years. As a result, there has been an increase in people wanting to become beekeepers. We are already receiving nucleus colony orders for Spring 2019! Before you head out to buy bees and equipment, its really important to educate yourself on what it takes to keep bees healthy and happy. Here are some tips to ensure success: 1) take a beekeeping course. I highly recommen...d the courses offered through the Ontario Beekeepers Association and the University of Guelph in many Ontario locations (book early, they fill up fast), 2) subscribe to beekeeping magazines like The American Bee Journal, Bee Culture, etc. Be cautious if researching on-line.....not all information is accurate! 3) join a local beekeepers' association in order to meet and network with existing beekeepers in your area. Membership fees are nomimal and you don't have to have bees to belong, 4) spend time working with a reputable beekeeper. This will give you an excellent idea about what is involved in keeping bees. Improper beekeeping jeopardizes honeybee health. 95% of beekeepers are hobbyists...you'll be in good company. Have fun! See more

Slow but sure! The government needs to act more quickly on these bans. These chemicals are an environmental disaster. https://mailchi.mp/ontariobee/breaking-and-timely-news
