For Remembrance Day, Casa South made some beautiful poppy crafts and talked about Peace after reading the book in the last picture. It is so important to begin talking about the concept of peace when children are young. Having an understanding of peace means they will know how to be peaceful in their own families, communities and lives and that peace will ripple out from them. As Dr. Montessori put it, Establishing peace is the work of education.
