'HAPPINESS starts from contentment... I enjoy everything I have, but I don't mourn anything that I lack. "Having" is a state, and "not having" is also a state...... After all we have nothing but the heart that burns inside us. If the heart fades, the things fades too. It's all going off... KEEP YOUR HEARTS!' (Savatie Bastovoi) (photo, Salla Kuikka) See more

Ok... finally got this video up from Sept 2019....didn't take long at all. Here we have Tessa Bird doing an awesome job reinless riding, taking Miss Dixie through the mounted archery track.
Pick your bows well. Ask for recommendations and make sure you can return what is defective. https://www.facebook.com/100003165901543/posts/3060503890731778/?sfnsn=mo
THE LIVING ARROW FLYING QUIVER It's a stable and comfortable new back quiver model designed to be as fast as the last Living Arrow sword quiver. My continue at...traction for the back quivers was based mainly on the unique feeling of powerful shooting and "freedom" (because the non interaction with the riding and letting completely free space for action in front of the body). Nevertheless, the characteristic archery form which can be performed with the last Living Arrow left side sword quiver (based on the alternative thrusting forward of the hands), proved to be extremely efficient and fast. In order to follow successfully this model, the flying quiver was designed to have the nocks of the arrows how much possible in front and down, at the level of the mouth. The quiver's body is near horizontal, with the opening resting on the right shoulder, with sufficient space between the arrows and the face of the archer. This ideal position is secured by using a wide belt running at the level of the armpits, above the breast. A system of adjustable leather straps and two rigid rods are connecting the quiver with the belt both in front and behind the body. For reloading is not necessary to take the quiver off. It's enough just to slip the front straps over the right shoulder, turn a little bit the wide belt counterclockwise, put the arrows inside the quiver, then turn it back in the shooting position.

This historic footage shows that we weren't the first Centaurs in California. These Monteray debutantes were shooting longbows from the saddle in 1937! Watch the video! http://bit.ly/2Sq7Iom
In their February-March edition the Canadian Cowboy Country magazine is running an article on Horse Archery and the sport will even be featured on the cover pag...e. The editor heard about us and came to do a couple interviews over the summer. This is an exciting time for Mounted Archery in Canada and the greatest part is the advancements that the Canadian Federation of Mounted Archery (CFMA) is making in their coaching and safety programs. This is the time when we have to assist and encourage new enthusiasts to find a credible source of guidance to ensure a safe and rewarding startup experience. Look for it at your local magazine stands across Canada. See more
