GUESS WHAT? The Kawartha Music Company is now 50 years old!!!!! The Kawartha Music Company Chorus was born in September 1969 under the name of the Otonabels (after the Otonabee River) and became a charter member of Sweet Adelines International in December 1970 under the direction of Grace Hadley. Excitement mounted as our competition drew closer and closer in Toronto. We were absolutely positive that we would win. We didn't but had a fabulous first competition.
