Kawartha Music Company 20.05.2021

Here we are in 2017 at the Dragon & Fairy Festival in Lakefield with our wings on. We loved performing for the kids, singing rounds and fun songs. We wish for the day when we can get together to sing and to laugh. Until then everyone, stay safe. We miss you. #KMCis50 #SAIRegion16 #sweetads #comesingwithus

One of the many "favourite" parts of our weekly rehearsals is our getting to know you segment. Today it was such a treat to hear some of Susie's story! And how ...special to hear the story behind her chosen song from the movie, Carousel, "You Will Never be Alone!" #kmc #comesingwithus #sweetads #SAIRegion16 See more

Here we are in 2012 at Convention in Syracuse. We had just made our brand new tops and everyone loved them. That year we won 3rd place Small Chorus. We were absolutely thrilled!! #KMCis50 #comesingwithus #SAIRegion16 #sweetads

Director Appreciation Day today at KMC! We love you, Cynthia. We so appreciate your dedication, your enthusiasm and your commitment to KMC! Every week you... bring a very well organized, creative and energetic rehearsal. Thank you! And how great to see Sue again! Her visit today was representing the leadership team of Region 16 of Sweet Adelines Intl. We know that we are so well supported through these challenging days. #sweetads #SAIRegion16 #KMC #comesingwithus See more

GUESS WHAT? The Kawartha Music Company is now 50 years old!!!!! The Kawartha Music Company Chorus was born in September 1969 under the name of the Otonabels (after the Otonabee River) and became a charter member of Sweet Adelines International in December 1970 under the direction of Grace Hadley. Excitement mounted as our competition drew closer and closer in Toronto. We were absolutely positive that we would win. We didn't but had a fabulous first competition. This picture... was taken at our first competition in March, 1971. #KMCis50 #comesingwithus #SAIREGION16 #sweetads

Kawartha Music Company has benefitted greatly from the financial assistance of Delta Bingo. It allows us to invest in our members for music education and development. It also gives us the ability to contribute donations regularly to Peterborough area projects that are important to our members and our community. Thank you!
