I have a few new families coming in for sessions this month so I wanted to share a picture and say hello this is me under the mask :) and I’m excited to meet you all. I also want to say thank you so much to everyone that has shared my post about our wish upon a star session/ fundraiser, I really appreciate it. We also still have some sessions available. This limited edition themed session is such a playful way to capture the whimsical magic of childhood while also supporting a local family. Good evening :) I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I am so so so excited to share that we have re planned our Wish Upon a Star sessions, with a few Covid tweaks. I adore these playful and sweet sessions that capture those magical childhood moments. This year these sessions are going to be even a little more magical as a portion of each session is going to go to a very sweet and very brave young man named Brody and his family. Brody is an 11 year old that lives in our... community, and is a total sweetheart. This young man has been battling with health issues for the last few years due to a diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease and very recently also received a diagnosis of Hodgkin's Lymphoma, cancer of the lymphatic system. We have known Brody for many many years and want to help show him and his family a little extra love and support. From the bottom of my heart, I want to say thank you. I would be lying if I said this year wasn't hard, super stressful and full of tears. Covid really forced a lot of change over a short time, it was scary and there was a short moment I wasn't sure I could create and environment to survive it. There were a lot of challenges that needed creative solutions and so so many lessons learnt. <3 I really hope next year brings a little more peace and calm. Thank you everyone fo...r your patience while it took time to create new processes and adapt, thank you for understand when we had to quickly cancel sessions, thank you for trusting me with keeping your children safe when we were back and for all the love and support you have shown. I am beyond grateful. I hope you all have a wonderful and safe holiday and I can't wait to start seeing some smiling faces in the New Year. Love you guys <3 See more

EEEEEEEEKKKKKK can you believe its Christmas eve, eve????? We have been very quiet the last bit, as i have been working like crazy making sure all your images were delivered by Christmas and aside from a preschool set of prints that is taking a magical journey around the country, everything is complete and its time to rest and relax. The Santa Experience 2020 <3

I hope you all don't mind but I would love to share a personal image of one of my favorite traditions. We love Christmas and every year create a fun and playful Santa image with Santa, Mrs Claus and my kidlets. If you have followed my page for a while you have probably seen our Santa pictures over the years. We started this tradition in 2009 and I really hope they let me continue for years to come <3

I want to share a little about how this idea came to be. Just before our first lock down we were planning family portraits, when Covid hit we had to cancel our plans and my mom was a little heart broken. My sister lives out of town and getting everyone together is no easy task and this session took a lot of planning so I wanted to come up with a way to give her, her family portrait even though we couldn't all be together. Creating an illustrated portrait was a fun and playful way to document our family and have everyone together even when we couldn't be Illustrated Family portraits make amazing gifts and will be ready for Christmas.
