Lara Klippenstein Lara + Drew. Well I already teared up once posting these- so here we go. Lara and Drew- surrounded by their closest people tied the knot on the most glorious of fall days. Against all odds- these two along with their families, managed to pull off an intimate event that perfectly encapsulated who Drew and Lara are as a unit. In a dress made by her mother, hand stitched together with love and pieces of the past, Lara walked down a grassy valley slope- the ver...y same slopes that gave her and her siblings a backdrop for their imaginations- to marry Drew. Her camp crush. A man full of kindness, intention, passion and gentleness. The boy of her dreams. They celebrated with drinks, a menu meticulously crafted by the artists at @loafandhoney, warmth, laughter, light and love. Lara and Drew- I love you, I love your love. . . . . See more

ANNOUNCEMENT TIME I woke up this morning with a lengthy to-do list. At one point in 2020 I was quite sure I’d be back in the Middle East by this time, I had so many hopes and dreams and plans for business and life there. But like so many others, the pandemic has forced me to slow down and become flexible with almost everything. I’ve been SO lucky to shoot as much as I have this summer and reconnect with and meet so many amazing people. This week is no exception with tons of... editing (always) shoots and my final wedding of the season (maybe?) BECAUSE we are going to work on Vancouver island for the winter! I’m so excited for the change of scenery and environment (bye -40) but also recognize what a difficult and weird time it is to move or travel at all. All that being said- I’m looking forward to the last few weeks in Manitoba for a little while, and if you want to shoot, I mean look at those leaves, please get get in touch, i have limited availability! Also check out my June 2021’s couple’s mad skills on the next slide, encapsulating exactly how this fall weather is making me feel. See more

Life have been full as of late. Somehow the days slip away and before you know it- it’s been too long since I’ve shared on here. And do I ever have some gems to share. Starting with some favourites from this windy day. The last time I shot Jolene and Mark, their eldest wasn’t even quite earthside yet, and what a treat to see how their family has grown ps. Swipe to the end to see the sweetest moment you ever did see Jolene Janzen
