We will be offering programs on all sides of Georgian Bay in 2021.

When you are ready for Level 2 it is time to start venturing off into coastal waters. This program is offered in two options: Option 1: Two weekend flex plan: Best suited to people with limited vacation time, or people who like to take their time. We split the program into two weekends; on the first weekend, which is offered locally we add new skills to your tool box. Then there is a break of a few weeks to have time to practice and let these new skills settle. Weekend two i...s a 3 day paddling adventure in an exciting and iconic Ontario location. Option 2: Instructional Touring: Best suited to people who are confident in their skills. We do an expedition style instructional tour. The course is a 4-5 day consecutive trip. We will base camp in a beautiful and special location, while going over the program. If you have been kayaking for a bit and you would like to try something a bit more adventurous, why not try an intermediate day paddle. After you have tried some social paddles, you think, that was so fun I would like to start my journey into learning the techniques and skills that kayakers use to be more efficient and safe. It's time to try the Level 1 skills program. These introductory kayaking lessons are tailored to a new kayaker who is looking to learn the required skill to plan and take their own day trips in Level 1 conditions.... Over the next little while we are going to take some time to introduce and explain our 2021 events and courses. First up is the return of the very popular social paddle! After getting an absolute earful last year, we have introduced a rec night as well as a sea kayaking night. The paddles are ranked based on the Paddle Canada sea state condition levels.... Level 0 nights are suitable for all levels and types of kayaks. Level 1 nights are for sea kayaks. We are offering gelcoat, fibreglass and Kevlar kayak repairs. We can fix minor and major structural damage. We are going to start slow, and only accept a few kayaks at a time. If you’d like a quote, please contact us at [email protected]

It’s been a tough year but our commitment to support inclusive paddling is important. We have made a $500 donation to the RBG’s Green Angels. The donation will help provide the helping hands that guide disadvantaged, special needs and new Canadian children to that magical place where they can explore, learn and let their imagination grow in a safe environment the natural world of Royal Botanical Gardens.

Well, what a crazy year. We have just sold enough spots on our last event of the year to confirm it is happening. I/we would like to thank you for an incredible 2020 season, it was a whirlwind. I can not believe how many people we connected and paddled with. It was way more than we had anticipated. We will still run our social paddles until the weather won't allow us to. I have time to get back into blogger mode and share our trip reports from this season. Keep an eye on here for our 2021 schedule, we have some huge things in the works, I am very excited to share it all.
