5 months later, my husband finishes reading my book. Considering he’s not a reader of YA fiction, he did pretty good! He was emotional at the end because I did it - I got this book done! He’s so proud of me. He loved my use of dialogue and character development. The only person left in my home to read it is my 7-year-old. He wants me to read it out loud to him but fails to realize how much time I’ve already spent with Elsie in that castle. I don’t know if I have it in me to read it out loud. First Christmas for our cat. The tree calls out to him daily to climb it when we aren’t looking! So, we decorate with only non-breakable (and non-meaningful to mom) ornaments this year and tidy the ones we find scattered on the floor each morning. He’s lucky he’s cute! (Any tips?)
