Please don't hate me for what I say next... This is going to be a little tough love here. A business profile is not the same as a personal profile. People don't have to know and love your business, just because they know and love you. You need to bring them VALUE! ... You need to SOLVE their PROBLEMS! You need to give them a REASON to NEED YOUR BUSINESS in their lives. You need to figure out what part of your business makes you special, makes people choose you over others...and you need to implement that into your strategy. If you go the extra mile for your clients- show that online. If you care about their lives and making them feel good- show them online! By showing them you care about solving their problems....that's where they'll care about your business. Then it becomes a two way street. That's what warming your audience up means. See more

What makes an idea a "Good Idea"?? Before an evaluation how the heck are you supposed to know a "MEH" idea from a "WONDERFUL" one? Before you can decide on if a idea is worth pursuing you need to ask yourself a few things: ... *Is the purpose clear? *Are you clearly able to envision the positive outcomes? *Have you brained stormed and collected relevant data? * Have I analyzed and organized the collected data? You shouldn't ask yourself "Is this a good idea" until you're most of the way through this process. This can take seconds, minutes, or days to figure this out, the bigger the idea the more time. Most people are doing this backward. They tell themselves "I need a great idea" before taking the time to figure out exactly what that may look like for the direction they want to go. And it almost always ends with your creative fire being snuffed out. See more

I am so done!!! Is what many of us love hearing at the end of a work day. But how do you signal the work day is actually done? If you’re like me- not very well, which is why I still found myself working into the evenings and bringing work home when I shouldn’t. Everyone talks about morning routines but what about shut down routines? Since implanting a shut down strategy I have been more able to focus on home and leave work behind. Here are so options fo...r creating your own Shut Down Routine: Do all end of day tasks like cash out, deposit, etc. Check emails. Respond to any that need answering by end of day. Mark any to deal with tomorrow. Answer any unanswered messages. Now is a great time to implement an away message to let customers know when to expect to hear from you. Create a priority task list for tomorrow. Take any unfinished tasks from today and shift them. This is why I love apps like Asana & Trello. Ensure your social media checklist is completed. Actually write this out. Post it somewhere very visible. Or save this post for a reminder. Figure out realistically how long this will take and make sure you have that time at the end of the day carved out. Everyone’s list may be different.
