As I am chatting with a bride about using a cool door for her first look (you know who you are ) I am reminded of this awesome pink door in Toronto! Who else loves a good door? I had the best time wandering through the streets with Alex & Paula and getting creative with all that the city has to offer!

I’ve been spending another morning watching the birds on the ranch and editing! They make for great entertainment and company. For anyone wondering, the first one is a Golden Pheasant and the other is a Ring-necked pheasant. They have the most vivid colours right now!

If you have seen my stories, you will know that I am back at my parents ranch! And like many people during the lockdown, I am enjoying the simple things like taking pictures of birds, lemurs, llamas and other creatures around the the funny farm! So to start off your Saturday, enjoy this cute little quail with a rainbow that I followed around last night.

This weather has got me eyeing the buds on the trees and hoping that the leaves will pop sooner this year! Summer greenery is my favourite. But, I am really looking forward to capturing the spring beauty in weddings coming up! Take a walk outside and notice everything coming to life. Here’s a flashback to Amy and Cole’s beautiful wedding... before Covid existed!

Happy Easter weekend friends! It’s hard to believe that we’re spending another Easter dealing with a lockdown. But life keeps rolling on and there’s still much to be thankful for. Thinking of everyone out there feeling alone or missing their families once again on a holiday. Stay strong and know that this won’t be forever. I’m here if anyone needs to talk!

I don’t often share my interior photography as it is not my main thing. But can we just appreciate this beautiful kitchen and all of it’s natural light? I loved wandering through this house photographing the stunning work that Country Lane Builders did!

Thanks to everyone who came out for the spring minis last week! It was so much playing with the bunnies outside in the sunshine. I found it so cute how a lot of the kids wanted to feed the bunnies Easter eggs. As you can see from these few pictures, there were lots of giggles and that’s all that I could have hoped for! Check out this cute little cabin in the woods! William & Cynthia’s engagement session was so much fun! They drank coffee, made a fire and giggled as I pranced around with my camera! Adding simple props and a fun activity to do together during a photoshoot makes it very relaxed and so enjoyable!

Celebrating love and a new chapter beginning!

When these two told me that we would be taking their engagement pictures in an old bank barn I was thrilled! Nothing gets me more then a good country scene. And of course I couldn’t resist climbing up in the hay bales to get just the right angle! I loved getting to hear Ashley & Floyd’s love story and am looking forward to their wedding in a couple of months!

That’s right, the bunnies are coming back! Pick your spot from Monday March 22- Saturday 27th. This will be my last time offering small sessions for awhile (other than those that are already booked) so that I can focus on weddings. So be sure to message me to snag a spot! I hope to see so many of your friendly faces! Take note that these mini sessions will be outdoors so please dress accordingly.

Jamin & Cheryl. Meeting with couples before their wedding brings me so much joy! We both get a glimpse of what it will be like spending the whole day together when the big day arrives! And let me tell you- I will LOVE being Jamin and Cheryl’s sidekick for their wedding day and capturing those sweet sweet smiles! The pure love they have for each other is so evident.
