I had SUCH a time photographing Blye and Chris’s engagement (with the most inappropriate playlist on the bose speaker.. ! but the laughs and smiles from it were ) Friday night we chased the sunset from Alberta prairies to their lakelot where their intimate ceremony will be - one year to date. Photographing engagements exactly one year away from the wedding day sets a tone for the session I can’t explain () For you all to get to know this couple, I wil...l start out by they are the most humble humans EVER. Like ever. Blye and Chris have been engaged for two years and due to the circumstances have chosen to postpone 1 more year. , 3 years in total. BUT, they have eachother. To fully be swept up on their day and to not even have this pandemic as a subject, to focus on their love and their love only. That’s what it’s all about. The calm of the water and synchronized deep breaths gives such a feeling. I asked Chris to wrap his arms around Blye and to pull her in creating a atmosphere for Blye to sink into him. To have this quiet moment, . Love you so so much guys.
