Hi everyone! I hope you have all been holding up well over the last couple weeks. Moving on to Alert Level 4, I have decided that I will not be returning to work on Monday March 1st. This is due to the current guidelines placed for massage therapists in NL, and my comfort level surrounding those guidelines. I will make my next update on Friday March 12th. Thank you all for your continuing patience. I am sending you all positive energy and love in the coming weeks

Hey everyone! I'm thinking about switching one of my morning shifts on Tuesday or Thursday to an evening shift. I feel as though it would cater to those who work 9-5 on week days. I already have two evening shifts (Monday and Wednesday) and I would like to gauge what works best for you guys! What do you think?... A) Add Tuesday evening shift B) Add Thursday evening shift C) Leave it the way it is

Hi everyone, I hope you are holding up well during this time. I'm making this post to update you all on my current situation and give you some words of encouragement during this time. First of all, I am currently home in Labrador, for an extended visit. Unfortunately, I will not be able to practice during this time as it is not safe for me to do so, and I am not currently registered in this province. I will keep you all updated on what my situation is when things start to cl...ear up. I'm sure many of you are experiencing a lot of different feelings at this time, mentally and physically. It is okay to be confused, stressed out, upset, angry, or even happy. If you are having trouble accepting these feelings, try your best to sit with them and take them as they come. When you are taken out of your normal routine, it is natural to feel a shift in your emotions and attitude. For a lot of people, social interaction is what keeps them on their feet. Make sure to reach out to friends, family, anyone you love. If you are finding it hard to do that, that is okay as well, just know that they will be there for you when you need it. You all know what is best for you, even if you think you don't, that knowledge is inside of you waiting for you to access it. Take your time, don't force yourself to do anything you're not currently comfortable with, it will come to you when you are ready. Take this time to unwind, reflect, learn about yourself and the people you love. For those of you who are still dealing with work and school on top of everything going on, you are doing your best, you are seen, hang in there. Pay attention to your body in your downtime. If you find you're spending a lot of time lying/sitting down; take a bath or a shower, put on some comfy clothes and do some yoga/stretching, go for a walk, make your bed, do some jumping jacks, do something creative (visual, auditory, etc). Literally anything that will occupy your mind or body. It might help you take your mind off of anything that is weighing you down and give you a sense of accomplishment, if that is what you are in search of. I don't have much more advice to offer at this time, and take my advice any way you please. Like I said before, you know what is best for you. Stay strong and keep pushing through! You are all such lovely people with endless potential. Xoxo.

Hi everyone! As some of you know, I recently moved away from St. John's to Halifax. I moved to Halifax for a change of scenery and I'm really loving it out here! I'm adjusting well and recently began my new job at Massage Addict at their Spring Garden location. I'm currently working Monday to Friday, as well as every second Saturday. My hours are: -2:15pm-8:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday... -8:45am-1:45pm on Wednesday and Friday -9am-3:15pm on every second Saturday. I will continue to update you all and provide more info in the future Much love, Kaylyn Pippy, RMT
