[AD] For us date nights can be hard to come by, so when we have one, we want to make sure we are going somewhere that checks all the boxes. Last week we snuck away from our home office and had an afternoon date @linxkitchen From the elegant atmosphere to the delicious food and everything in-between, it did not disappoint! ... Whether you are looking for a lady's night out, a date night with someone special, a client lunch or dinner, or a great place to host a Holiday party, they can accommodate it all! With their elevated menu full of options you’ll want to come back again and again to try everything. May I suggest starting with the avocado and goat cheese bruschetta - I'm still dreaming about it. Throw in a round of golf in the high-end golf simulator and it will be a night out to remember. When's the last time you went out for a evening? Are you more interested in trying @linxkitchen for dinner cocktails golfing or all of the above? Location @linxkitchen Photography @ravensfeatherphotography

I made this chilli dish a few nights back and replaced our regular ground meat with tofu. Wasn’t sure how it would go over but the majority of our house ate it and enjoyed it. Any guesses on the one person who didn’t love it? or ??? Recipe Sauté 1 yellow onion and 2 cloves of crushed garlic in 2 tbls of vegetable oil on med heat Add full pack of tofu and sauté until lightly browned... Add 1 can of crushed tomatoes and 1/2 can tomato sauce Add 1 can of kidney beans Add 1 can of corn Add 1 cup of mushrooms season with 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper 1 tbl spoon paprika, 1 tbls chilli powder and salt & pepper to taste Cook everything on med heat for 1hr to let the ingredients absorb all flavours. Enjoy and serve with your favourite slice of fresh bread

[AD] The times have certainly changed and many of us find ourselves working from home, which beats commuting and rushing out the door to make it to work on time, but there can also be distractions. Man I miss travelling. Reminiscing on our family vacation we took to Italy 2years ago. The experience, the time spent exploring, seeing beautiful things and the culture will be something I cherish. Until the day we can visit the world again I will continue to look back on our many adventures. Where is the first place you will visit when we are able to explore the world again?

I can’t help but feel like this is going to be the longest winter as we all wait for the day when we get to enjoy the pool . Until than I will try to have as much excitement as they have watching it all happen and enjoy the process :) ... How many days until summer

I’ve been asked, Is planning a virtual event similar to an in person event? Well in my opinion nothing beats the face to face connection an in person event brings. However, when planning a virtual event, if you follow the same guidelines you would when planning an in person event there is no question you should be able to produce a successful virtual event. Make sure to consider the following:... Platform, a lot of work goes into picking the perfect venue for an in person event. The same amount of work should be done when choosing your virtual platform. There are many platforms to consider and all of them can be used as long as you have a clear message driving sales to one location. Marketing, putting 25-50% of your vendor sales towards marketing is strongly suggested. This may seem high, but a well thought out and diverse marketing plan will result in more consumer traffic, which converts into sales for your vendors, which is the ultimate goal. Vendor Selection, I have seen this one over looked on many occasions. The more vendors you can book the better...right? NOPE! It’s all about quality and diversity. A variety of vendors with a cap on each category is so important for both your vendors and consumers. No one wants to be a vendor or attend a event that if full of the same product/services. Variety is key! It is a known fact that consumers will stay longer which will result in more spending if they are presented with a variety of options. Connection, I can’t stress this one enough for both in person & virtual events. A lot of people think it’s hard to do with a virtual event & yes, it is different but it is still doable and very important. Check in on your vendors during the event. See how sales are going, discuss their experience along the way. Don’t wait till the event is over to ask how the event went for them. If they have concerns trouble shoot with them during the event and more often than not the problem can be rectified. When it comes to your consumers create a chat box. Have someone available during the hours of the event to answer any questions that come in. Unanswered questions can result in consumer frustration and you risk losing them which results in less shoppers for your vendors. Last point, Don't hide behind the fact that the event is virtual. Be available, be attentive, be the amazing event planner you are and I promise you it will all come together.
