Dug this relic out of the archives today. Going to put it back in circulation. This was my first client gift. It was from a family I booked to Florida. Let me tell you how I used to make a booking. - client would come in to the travel agency and explain their needs. ... - no internet, no trip advisor. If the agent had been to the destination,,,great! They could make a recommendation. If not, agent would haul out a book as thick as my thigh called the OAG,,, OFFICIAL Accommodation Guide. This guide listed all the hotels in an area with a short description and price range. - agent would present a few options to client, sight unseen. Client would say oh, that sounds nice!as agent points at a dot on a map - agent would book flights when a seat sale came up. If you forgot to issue the ticket, you would call Air Canada and beg them for authorization to issue it by hand for the sale price. - agent would fax or call hotel to request booking. - agent would call car rental company to book a car. - agent would type an itinerary for clients and pray on everything holy that all went well. So. Different. From. Now. !!! Essentially, I would cross my fingers and hope for happy clients upon return. If they were happy, I usually received a postcard or a trinket from destination. This video reminds me of our first NAKATION! Checking it at a hotel where the whole idea is to DISROBE is a bit unnerving, but the staff is SO super respectful that the fear dissipates as they read the strict rules,,, - no gawking - no intimate PDA... - no photos - no inappropriate behaviour The list goes on. Is all- inclusive a MUST for you on tropical vacations? I don’t know about you, but I have been frequenting all-inclusives since they came in to vogue in the early 90s. Have you considered a lovely resort with on and off-site dining available...where you can grab a case of Modelo, Coke, or Prosecco for your bar fridge and explore off property more freely? ...
