It has taken me a few days to write this post as we have been so overwhelmed with support! In the past few weeks we have so many words of encouragement and support in general we are truly overwhelmed! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We truly love what we do and continue to learn daily on better ways to do things! We have been busy the last few weeks with processing, weighting calves and moving cattle around so we can get ready for calving which will be here soon. Brodie has been working hard in any spare time he has had to get some old fence lines cleared out that haven’t been done in years, as we are going to be upgrading some fences. The girls and I went to go help for awhile today it sure is nice to get working on these projects so early in the year as the list of projects seems to grow. Evenings out with the cattle and the girls...I love this time we get to spend together on the farm and I can see how much they love it too! When they can pet the cattle out in the pasture their eyes light up and their smiles say it all, I couldn’t be any prouder! Did you know we pick up our meat weekly from our butcher! Who loves sunny warm late winter days?? How good does it feel to let that sunshine hit your face?? Not only do we love these days and try to soak it all up but the livestock are feeling good they were jumping, playing and having all sorts of fun in the sun!! This past weekend we spent our time outside as a family!! I love haying season! It is hard with long hours stress of the weather and equipment break downs but I love it. We get to all work together as a team everyone doing their part! I remember as a kid haying season was so fun because all my cousins would be over at my grandma and grandpa Hyatt’s and my grandpa would have lunches and dinners and picnics like every day.
