A lot of people don’t actually know the proper ball position for each club. In the video above, you can see that my 7 iron is positioned in the middle of my stance. If you were to move to a 6 iron, the ball should be positioned about a ball towards your forward foot. You do this all the way until your driver is off of your front foot. This works the same going towards a wedge as well. This positioning allows for you to make crisp contact with the ball. As the clubs get longe...r, you need to move this positioning forward to allow the club to bottom out and hit down on the ball. As we always say in golf, down is up! If you have any further questions on ball position send me a message and I would be happy to help! #professional #pga #ballposition #golf #golfball #pro #pgapro #pgaprofessional #training #golflife #callaway #alignment

Working on some longer chips in the backyard! Starting with the ball back in my stance, my hands pushed forward as I need to hit a bit of a low ball due to overhead trees, and then really focusing on getting through the ball at impact! #Golf #chipping #professional #golfcoach #practice #titleist #titleistgolf #rocktape

I received the question today why does the ball go left or right? I think one of my mishits today addresses this well. The overall answer is your club face at impact. As you see, I line up pretty straight here. But, in the first picture you can see that my club face is partially closed. This will result in a closed club face at impact unless I manage to fix it at the top which is very difficult. The second picture you can see my back knee is still slightly bent, and the ...club head is pointed at my target. The third picture, you can see that the ball is already taking off slightly right. This was due to my take away being slightly closed. With my finish you can tell that I rotated my feet instead of planting them which resulted in the front one pointing forward. Not the best form. If you would like a video analysis of your swing send me a message and I can let you know some more information! #golf #professional #practice #analysis #pga #swing #golfswing #instructor #coach

About a 74 yard shot to the practice pin. It’s always a good idea to work on about 100 yards and in. This is where most golfers use the most strokes. #golf #chipping #chip #golfinstruction #pga #pro #professional #practice

I just wanted to share a little bit of information about me. My name is Kristen Butterfield, I am 19 years old and live in Brantford, Ontario. I’ve been playing golf for about 7 years now as well as worked in the industry for 3 years. Last year I started my college journey at Georgian College, where I am in a 4 year bachelors of business administration (golf management) program. I played on the golf team while there, and our women’s team made it to nationals and placed 4th in Canada. Fast forward to this year. Back in March I got my pro card. I am looking forward to coaching and instructing the game of golf! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or inquiries, and I will respond as soon as I can! #golf #professional #golfinstruction #golfinstructor #georgiancollege #business #procard #pro #pga #pgaofcanada

A flop shot can be useful in many different instances. Maybe you have a bunker with a tight pin, or maybe you have very little room between you and the pin where the ball needs to stop quick. The best club to use during this shot would be a lob wedge due to the high degree of loft. To perform a flop shot: 1. Open the club face 2. Open your stance... 3. Aim upper body at the target 4. Swing down on the ball and use the bounce of the club #golf #flopshot #lobwedge #golfinstruction
