The Kluane Chilkat International Bike Relay (KCIBR) executive and board of directors has been working hard since November 2020 to plan a safe event for 2021. We have good news there will be a KCIBR this year that will be virtual. You will be able to choose your route near your home and we will reward your completion of the 2021 virtual KCIBR! More details to be released in February 2021, check www.kcibr.org or our Facebook page for details. Sincerely, KCIBR

The Cycling Association of Yukon asks you to participate in a survey to gain perspective on what's working, what's not working and what could be improved about cycling in Yukon. This information will be used to create a 10-year plan for Yukon Cycling. This survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. It will close on December 15, 2020. The Kluane Chilkat International Bike Relay (KCIBR) executive and board of directors is working hard to plan a safe event for 2021. Our primary goal is ensuring the safety of all entrants, volunteers and members of the community. The event will incorporate best practices developed for the COVID-19 pandemic. Operational plans will be reviewed by appropriate medical and regulatory agencies. An equally important goal is encouraging everyone to get on their bikes and enjoy bei...ng outdoors. We will also strive to make the event as inclusive as possible. There is a lot of uncertainty regarding the pandemic, and where we’ll be next June. At this point facts are changing almost daily. The KCIBR board will have an overall vision for the 2021 event by early January. Our plan is to host a safe and successful 2021 event. As soon as our plans are finalized, we’ll let you know. Sincerely, KCIBR

While we may all be on COVID lockdown, that doesn't mean no riding. Let's all keep riding, and see each other in 2021!

Hi Everybody, We are doing some house cleaning with this extra time to make our event and organization better in future years. The KCIBR is planning on updating it's bylaws. The proposed new bylaws will use the Yukon Government Corporate Affairs template and enable electronic meetings and staggered 1-2 terms for directors of the Society.... An electronic meeting will be held July 6th at 7pm to approve these bylaws. Members are eligible to vote. Membership in KCIBR is free, contact [email protected] (867) 332-7592, to join and receive the electronic meeting request.
