Yesterday at the salon I ended up with some extra time on my hands. I had been craving some color in my life so I started my own little project in between guests. 1st pic in salon. 2nd pic driving home with final color applied by @ruthannadairrevivehairstudio (perks of being a stylist ) 3rd & 4th the end result with no filter needed. (Standing by the window in my bathroom lol) ... *who says money pieces need to be blonde!?

This gorgeous head of hair takes me at least 5 hrs each time I see her, but it's always with the work out lol

With valentines day right around the corner and these cupid pink money pieces, let's talk about them...... they DO NOT always have to be blonde. Happy valentines day to all my beauties

Check out her before pic. With years of box black color, it's hard to say how well things will lift. I NEVER promise anything with this huge of a correction. It's better to be more realistic about the outcome of one sitting with your guest. I prefer to under promise, but hope all goes well so that I can over deliver lol **start low and go slow**... Something I've learnt over the years when it comes to color correcting box colors. Starting with a low proxide allows the lightener to work slower, giving it more time to clean out the hair evenly. We were both pumped with the results I achieved today. It took a lot of work and patience but it paid off @sabrina_aria_99

It doesn't ALWAYS have to be about the color! Check out this transformation, roughly cut 10 inches off.

No color editing here!!!! No ring light used either, but it was dark outside when we finished so this lighting is not 100%. This photo was taken in our shampoo room where the light is the most natural. This beauty has tons of hair, we were a good 5.5hrs getting her where she wanted to be today (keep in mind this was our second session). And LOOK at that blend ... Thanks again Haley

YAY! I get to return to my happy place.

Day 1 and I miss having my hands in hair already. I do understand we all have to do our part, but seeing only 1 person at a time, everyone wearing masks and even face shields while washing, then disinfecting like CRAZY and sanitizing EVERYTHING in between..... if I have to be closed down to do my part, I hope everyone in return can do their part by wearing your mask and staying home if you can. Going to work for me is my therapy, I feel good at work, I felt safe from covid in the salon I work in because we all took pride in making it safe for us and our guest. So please please, pretty please do what you can on your behalf to help stop the spread so I can go back to work and make your hair beautiful again
