Chaos printing. I’m working on the final pieces for some work that I be showing at the upcoming @thepapercutarcade online exhibition, Post-Human Romantics, next month. This interactive work, Brambles and Spores, is part of a board game that explores abundance and imbalance. As we are still distancing, I’ll be making a PDF version that will be downloadable for folks to experience on their own. That and more coming up in February 6th!

I am delighted to share the work I have been doing to help artist, print-maker and excellent human Marlene Yuen to realize her upcoming show at @gruntgallery : Cheap! Diligent! Faithful! - @marleneyuen . This mural is a large scale reproduction from Marlene’s new publication that explores the graphic and cultural history of Ho Sun Hing Printers, which closed in 2014 after 106 years of business in Vancouver’s Chinatown. The exhibition also celebrates her book launch as part ...of this year’s @vancouverartbookfair and will be for sale soon! . The mural will be visible from the front entrance so even if you’re not ready to step inside (although there will be works installed and the gallery does have safe visiting rules in place - limited occupancy and masks/sanitization available) you’ll be able to check out Marlene’s new show September 25 - December 12, 2020. The gallery is open 12-5 Tu-Sat. Make a date and come by! . For more about the show check out: https://grunt.ca/exhibitions/cheap-diligent-faithful/ . #yvrart #printmaker #mural #timelapse #gallery See more

My collective The Papercut Arcade is gearing up for their next show in February (6th) conceived and facilitated by Jonathan Dawes. I have some early sketches in progress, but there’s nothing like a deadline is less than 2 months away to put wind in your sci-fi sails. Call is still open for submissions (check out thePapercutarcade.ca) btw if you were interested in responding to a call for PostHuman Romantic role play and creativity! DM me for details if you want to know more and also save the date for December 19th for a performance by 1381MNRKR3, my posthuman mouthpiece for this exhibition.

Today we remember why everyday we must listen, and respect the experiences and trauma of residential school Survivors and their families - and why we must never AGAIN (or fight against those still existing systems of oppression that) allow for the systematic repression and genocide of Indigenous people and culture who are deemed "inconvenient" or "fixable" to work within a colonizer/setter plan or economy. I had the pleasure to host 3 Crows Production last month at ArtStarts in Schools - if you have the chance to work with them or have them in your (physical or virtual) classroom space - I encourage you to take it!
