Readers are Leaders... The school year has ended and as we move into the summer months (can you believe its officially summer already?), our kids are going to be looking for things to do... and if theres a good book lying around, it can give us parents a break! Stories can transport us through tough times... and make us feel and see the world from different angles. #ReadOnCanada is a summer-long initiative making more than 130,000 books available to families through food bank partners and posting online activities for our kids at readoncanada.ca and on their Facebook profile, Canadian Childrens Literacy Foundation. If youre looking for something to do during those rainy days at home or those sunny days in the park, check it out!
