Ah, the Calamondin. What is this you ask? A citrus, a cross between a kumquat and a mandarin orange, it’s indoor hardy, it’s a patio worshipper in the summer and the little fruits are a great tart garnish and an even better marmalade. And yes doormat, I do fancy a gin, thanks for asking. (But I’ll wait until after the deliveries are done and I’m in the tub.)

Yes, it’s Christinamas Eve! So, in case you don’t know the protocol; wear ridiculous loungewear (faux fur, bright, pink panther, knockoff Gucci tracksuits), drink dirty martinis, maul every feline you can find, swear copiously and listen to Fleetwood Mac on full volume. These factors prepare you properly for tomorrow, which yes is Christinamas, celebrating the hard work of one brave and patient Midge 39 years ago. Some women have daughters who are firecrackers, Midge go...t a daughter like a Molotov cocktail. Also, 39% off entire store, but not Berger, flowers or plants. Wahoo!
