OTC Pain Medication Did you know, some dental pain can effectively be managed without a prescription? If you are currently taking any medications or have any me...dical conditions, speak with your dental/health care provider or pharmacist before taking any new medications. If you are experiencing dental pain (and are healthy, with no medical conditions) try: Ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin): as directed, every 6 hours Acetaminophen (Tylenol): as directed, every 6 hours * These medications can be safely taken together to maximize dental pain relief in the event of an emergency, while awaiting dental care

April 4th-11th 2020 is National Dental Hygienist Week! We want to thank our amazing Hygienists, Fayth & Meagan, at Kelligrews Dental Clinic who play such an important role in the oral health & overall health of our patients! We also want to say that we know this is a difficult time for everyone to navigate right now. We know it's easy to fall off of a routine during a time like this! Just try your best to maintain good oral hygiene (floss daily, brush 2X/day) and once we get back to work in the clinic we will be happy to support you, treat you and get everything back on track

***IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR OUR PATIENTS*** Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Newfoundland Dental Board has advised that all regular dental services/appointments be suspended immediately effective starting March 17th 2020 (Tuesday). If you are a regular patient of our clinic and have a dental emergency (infection, bleeding, trauma, swelling) please call our office (709-834-3633) and listen to the voicemail for instructions on how to get in contact with your dentist (Dr. Shamara ...Doyle or Dr. Adrian Power) The Newfoundland Dental Board has put this policy into effect for a minimum of 14 days.
