Transportation was just in touch with us- bus packages will go home tomorrow Rather than today due to road conditions. If families on bus routes are in town and want to pick their students package up from the school, please contact the school at 675-2112 to let us know. The bus packages will be delivered tomorrow. A school messenger will also be sent.

Reminder that paper packages for remote learning will be picked up today between 1:30 and 1:45 from the hall entry doors( gym).Bus students will have theirs delivered by the bus drivers at the regular afternoon bus time on Wednesday. Someone will have to meet the bus driver in the yard, or at the in town drop off location to pick up the packages. We thank everyone with their patience and support for our remote learning! Please note this was updated at 8:28am for bus families!

As we continue with remote learning- don’t forget to keep recess, snacks, and healthy lunch in mind. Our PreK through grade 6 would see 54 minutes of outside play throughout the day, as well as a mid morning snack time. These breaks are important, to maintain focus for text tasks, but also because play is learning. For your older students, be sure they are away from screens for portions of the day and up and moving- preferably outside!

Reminder that remote learning will continue for the next 2 weeks. Additional paper packages will go home this week, please refer to the information shared through School Messenger prior to the break. We miss our Cobra’s and can’t wait until it’s safe for us to meet together again!

We are so proud of all of our students learning from home this week! In the pictures... The grade 1/2 students are collecting odd and even amounts of items for their math soft start. The grade 3 students are learning about multiplication and division fact families using JamBoard. ... The grade 5/6 class (and some special furry friends) are having great discussions over Google meet! Happy learning!

$1984.82- that’s the total that was raised for our Wadena Meats fundraiser! Thanks everyone who purchased. $400 will go to playscape, and the remaining $1584.82 goes to our student leadership team for house shirts that were purchased last year and we were unable to complete fundraising for due to COVID school closure.
