The Bear's Paw Cafe will be opening Friday May 17th! The cafe will be open daily from 9am-4pm (closed Wednesdays), serving a selection of paninis, soups, and sa...lads, as well as breakfast sandwiches and wraps, and our signature baked goods and desserts. Hours will lengthen as the season gears up! A big change is happening this year - we bought a food truck! Our food truck will be opening in June - keep an eye out on our page for our opening day announcement. The food truck will be serving hand cut fries and poutine, gourmet burgers, and loaded hot dogs. Don't fear, we will also have daily specials which will include many of your favourite Bear's Paw dishes such as our bbq ribs, lasagna, curry, and pulled pork. You might have noticed the biggest change of all - we are no longer doing a sit down dinner service. Instead, the cafe and food truck will be open in tandem to serve you daily - whether you want a burger and fries, a grilled cheese for the kids, or a hearty vegetarian panini and salad, you have many options at the Bear's Paw Cafe and Food Truck! Our first day off - which for theatre people means little. Crew tidies up notes and props, actors rehearse lines and steps and producers head to town for banking and materials. Then back at it tomorrow morning.

2 days until Old Fashioned Victorian Christmas and we're so excited to have you. Admission for the entire weekend is by cash donation to Barkerville Heritage Tr...ust or non-perishable food item that will go to support the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 128 - Wells hamper program. Returning this year is our special Holiday Experience package for $18. It includes a horse-drawn sleigh ride, a gingerbread decorating workshop, and a pack of custom holiday cards from the Cariboo Sentinel. The packages can be purchased at the Visitors' Centre.
