Finally! Pfizer shot 1 is now complete! Driving to the clinic was shocking. As out of control as things are here in the city , one would think people would care enough to take necessary precautions. Toronto is the architect of it’s own misery. So many out not distancing or wearing masks. Trinity Bellwoods Park was beyond overcrowded. Aerosol transmission is clearly a reality that too many choose to ignore. I look forward to the second shot ! #wearamask

A must read article! It is US centric however similar concerns here in Ontario and the rest of Canada. Hairdressers survived the Great Depression and we will survive this present plague! I remember the stories my very first salon boss shared about doing hair during that depression. I draw strength and inspiration from remembering her stories. We will get through this and I look forward to seeing you when it is safe and we are allowed to re open! Keep well, stay safe!

Well this is disturbing. The pandemic will change the present salon industry as it will everything about the world pre pandemic. Hairdressers will survive. Hair isn't going away anytime soon. How all of us function in this new world will be what sets us apart and keeps what we do the special experience that only a hairdresser can offer. Amazon ain't it.
