Happy Friday! I reopened my office on Monday June 8th. This first week back has been great and I have really enjoyed seeing everyone again! Good Evening, As many of you will have seen, the government has announced that all Regulated Health Professionals are allowed to gradually resume services. This includes Massage Therapy. This information is understandably both exciting and nerve wracking to many people. We appreciate your patience while the clinic prepares to reopen. Although we are now legally allowed to open, there are many steps we have to take in order to begin seeing clients. Having the proper PPE, safet...y protocols, and ensuring the safety of all clients and staff are of the utmost importance at the clinic. As soon as our opening details are ready they will be announced. The number of clients being seen will be reduced quite drastically compared to pre-COVID-19. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all massage therapy appointments have been temporarily postponed. As massage therapy is considered a non-essential service, my office will have to remain closed for as long as the Ontario Emergency Declaration exists. During this unexpected time off, I have been self-isolating and taking advantage of the time to study from the multitude of educational resources offered through the massage therapy community.
