Recent photo-shoot at the home of the talented Hamilton artist Paul Elia renowned for his photo-based illustrations depicting post-industrial cityscapes ( view his artwork at Paul Elia Gallery ). Paul and his partner Paul did an amazing job at repurposing this commercial building on Cannon Street ( originally a bakery ), located steps away from Hamilton's popular Ottawa Street BIA. My favourite space is their outdoor courtyard, where they took the advice of architects Toms + McNally Design to create an open air courtyard by removing the roof.
