The hierarchy of importance for any good real estate agent goes: 1 Their clients 2 Real estate 3 Fun (but honestly, this weaves into number one and two)... Real estate agents wouldn’t be anything without wonderful clients like YOU! So thank you for letting us do what we love most: Helping you find your dream home.

OK roll up your sleeves because it’s time for some real estate trivia! Ready? The question is: You can guess a home’s age by its 1 Windows 2 Roof 3 Paint... 4 Floors What’s your guess? Comment below before checking the answer! Did it? OK good. The correct answer is the roof! Why is this? Well, your roof is the first and last line of defense against the invasion of pests and the climate. Because of this, over time, it can decay and become a breeding ground for molds and mildews. So, when purchasing a new home, make sure to ask about the roofing so you’re not left with any surprises.

The reality of real estate is that there is always room for doubting your choices, even if it comes to a home that fits your entire wish list. But when it comes down to it, if you LOVE the home then make it YOURS! It’s as simple as that.

Do you find yourself coming home every day, wishing you had just a little bit more space to kick up your feet and relax? What’s holding you back from calling your real estate agent to do exactly that? It’s time that you finally stop settling and find a space that works with your lifestyle.

Investing in a home can be an intimidating thought, but trust that your bank account (and future self) will thank you later.

2021 #DesignTrend coming in hot! This year, we’re saying good-bye to traditional white cabinets and saying hello to forest green cabinets! Adding a soft, yet bold color like this adds a lot of interest and uniqueness to your kitchen. Of course, it doesn’t have to be green any color that evokes the emotion you want to feel while cooking can make a subtle statement. But if you’re going for serene, green is definitely a good choice. What do you think of this trend? What color would you choose for your cabinets?

Though it’s tempting to wait for that perfect moment to start something, the truth is: there’s no moment like right now. Happy #MLKDay, everyone!

A couple of years ago I dropped from the top 5 to top 10 percent of RLP agents in Canada...I was so disappointed in myself that I didn’t even hang my award... The fact of the matter is life can be hard. It can throw you curve balls, and if you’re not focused on what’s important to you, goals can get away from you. I’ve learned over the last 8 years in particular what is important to me, and the bottom line is it doesn’t matter what level I’m at, as long as my clients are take...n care of and happy and my work-life balance doesn’t suffer. NOW...2021 is going to be wild and crazy! I’m working on a couple of things for my business so stay tuned. And also if you or a friend or family member is ready for some help to buy or sell, I’m more than happy to help, as always:) Much love, and massive thank you to those who continue to trust me with their real estate needs. #yqr #realestateyqr #yqrsmallbusiness #firsttimebuyer #separationspecialist #yourguidetobetterliving #homeseller #homebuyer #buysellrepeat #realtorlife #royallepagereginarealty #14thyear

Have you visited a place that made you feel rejuvenated and inspired? A place where you would love to go back to ASAP? While traveling every day to that location may not be feasible, you can still bring that feeling into your own home. Your home is a sanctuary and should inspire you every day like your paradise getaway. ... This could mean adding textures and patterns that are typical of that area, decor pieces you saw often, and colors that you loved while visiting.

This just in: The #DesignTrend of the year is shiplap! What is #shiplap? The style of shiplap got its name and inspiration from ships. The overlapping joints are what made shiplap so great for boats it was tight and waterproof. This is why it also became popular in regions with harsh climates. Even if you’re not constantly battling with the elements, shiplap can add a charming look and feel to your home.... Vertical shiplap can make any room look taller, and the bold lines and handcrafted look makes it incredibly versatile. Have you installed shiplap in your home?

Definition time! Today’s lexicon is down payment. A #DownPayment is a portion of the house purchase price that you pay out of pocket. This is a way to finalize the transaction, and it comes before any loans are taken out to finance remainder payments.

According to the top realtor resources, fall is a great season of the year to buy or sell #realestate because of the decreased competition yet increased demand from buyers. Plus, not to mention the added bonus of having Mother Nature naturally decorate your curb appeal with beautiful fall colors! Did you buy or sell a house in the fall?

KELLY KUNTZ, Tourney Group 10.11.2020

When selling a house, one of the most important things to AVOID is setting too high of a price for your home. You may have a lot of pride in your home (and rightfully so!), but asking for a price that is well beyond your home’s market value can really hurt your chances of selling your house in a timely fashion. This is also why #RealEstateAgents can be helpful: they will help you do some market research and offer suggestions on a realistic price.

There are two things to be very thankful for this holiday season: 1 Your business. Without your continuous support, this business would not be possible! So thank you so much for your engagement, referrals, views, likes, and everything else. It means the world! 2 Elastic waistbands. Could you even get through the holidays without elastic?

I never tire of the views from this office. There’s something about coming in every morning and seeing our city landscape that feels settling. Making your own wreath is surprisingly easy, requires little floral expertise, and can be more cost-effective than buying a pre-made one. Not to mention, you can dress it up however you’d like! Materials for your #DIYWreath: garland (a 20-ft one is quite standard) wire cutters... floral wire a metal hoop (or any other shape you’d like to create the wreath frame). Then, simply coil the garland onto the frame, layering it and wiring it all together as you layer. Then add any decor you’d like and voila! Have you made your own wreath? Do you have any insider tips to add?

A quick, easy holiday design tip: Add some traditional seasonal accents to your holiday #tablescape such as acorns, mini pumpkins, and/or vibrant foliage to liven up the table and put your guests in the holiday mood. How do you usually decorate your table?
