Throwback to this mama and her babe

I thought I’d give a little dose of reality for a moment. This is a MUST read so stick with me. . We got family photos done a few weeks ago, my amazing friend agreed if I set my camera to the right settings she would snap away well Luke was NOT having it. He was cold, tired, and hungry. . The photographer in me kept saying to myself don’t go into this with expectation, no pressure, just relax as I tell my clients. But I couldn’t help it. ... . I spent a week deciding on our outfits, I did my hair and makeup really nice, convinced Craig to come and so of course I was excited! I couldn’t help it. I experienced mega disappointment. . And then I let go. I let go of the stress, the overwhelmed feeling of ugh what if we get no photos, and just let it be. We did get some beautiful photos! I’ll share those later . But for now - just relax mama. Your kids will be.. well kids. And as your photographer I will 100% roll with it. appreciate the moment of now and try not to stress about that perfect family shot. Your favorite photo will be the one of them screaming. Ok maybe not that See more
