The 2021 Juniper Contests Winner has been picked! Our Club Sensei, Martin V was this year's judge. The judging was once again done without knowing whose tree it was, just that they were numbered. Photos were submitted of juniper trees fresh from the greenhouse, then after a summer of styling, the transformation from tree to bonsai. Martin had a tough time picking the winner between the top three and had to base his final decision on the best overall shape and applying bons...ai techniques. This year's prizes are donated by Martin V as well, the top three get their pick from his brand new tool orders. Now what everyone has been waiting for, all the entries this year! For the second year in a row! The 2021 Juniper Contest Winner Is! Tree #2, Bob M!!! Bob Gets to hang onto the metal bonsai trophy for another year. Our Two Runner Ups are!!! Tree #5 Brent T! and Tree #6 Daniel W! A Big thanks to everyone who entered, your participation is what makes this contest a success. For those of you who didn't enter this year, please enter next year. Because If Bob wins three years in a row, we will all have to hear about it at every Bonsai Club meeting, forever.
