Phone today March 22nd looking for a fixed faucet to replace the flexible shower faucet in the enclosed head on my boat. Spoke to a guy named Ryan. What a jackass, made me feel like some kind of bum and I didn’t know what I was talking about even though I’ve been boating for over 30 years. I told him I had looked at their catalog, gave him the page number and that I wanted some more specs on it before ordering. He just just kept silent and reiterated with I don’t have that i...tem in front of me to give you that information it’s back in the warehouse. I could go on but I would never deal with such an asshole company and employee attitude. I guess shit rolls downhill and I can only believe that attitude comes from the top. After I got of the phone and my continued search I found Ambassador Marine in California, spoke to a guy called Andrew, he was polite, said we have that and if you don’t mind waiting a few minutes I’ll go back to the warehouse, fetch one to give you the specs, that’s what I call service. Even though it cost a lot more because of the shipping and import fees I would rather spend my money with a company that listens and goes the extra mile to meet your needs. Zero stars here for Western Marine. They are just typical of the snouty attitude you find in the BC Marine supply industry. See more
