The following is a developing action plan for Kelsey Stubel Massage Therapy regarding the reopening of Massage Therapy Services, beginning May 4, 2020. New bookings are not currently available. Clients whose appointments were canceled due to the mandatory closure will be contacted directly to begin rescheduling appointments. If you feel you are in need of an urgent or emergent appointment, please contact Kelsey directly via Facebook Messenger (at Kelsey Stubel Massage Ther...apy) or by calling or texting 204-232-3938. Please take note of the following strategies that have been put in place for the safety and comfort of all as we begin to enter this new phase: Before rebooking your appointment, you will be pre-screened via telephone from the Shared Health Manitoba Screening Tool - https://sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/ . If you have recently traveled or are feeling unwell, please contact me directly to reschedule your appointment. Physical distancing is to be maintained while you are arriving to and departing from your treatment. This includes payment and pre-and-post assessment, when possible. The clinic is marked with signage to direct the flow of traffic. Remote checkins for your appointment via a text message or phone call are being implemented, as well as staggered appointment times with other practitioners to limit client overlap. Daily caseloads are being decreased to allow for decreased volume in the clinic, as well as increased time for sanitization protocols. Hand sanitizer is available for entry and exit of the clinic. Cashless payment options remain available. Strict sanitization protocols of your treatment room and all common areas are being adhered to. PPE will be worn by your therapist, and should you chose to do so, you are welcome to wear a mask (homemade, disposable, or a bandana, provided they are new or freshly laundered). Manitoba has released a multi-phase plan to reopen the province with phase one beginning Monday, May 4th. The reopening of Massage Therapy clinics (as well as other therapeutic and medical services) has been included in the first phase. . Kelsey Stubel Massage Therapy will be working together with Beausejour Rehabilitation to develop a plan and details will be provided in the coming days. As many of you are aware, the provincial government has extended the public health order mandating the closure of non-essential businesses to April 28th. This includes massage therapy. . Please note that due to efforts to flatten the curve of COVID-19, effective immediately Kelsey Stubel Massage Therapy will be closed. This was a very difficult decision to reach, however, client care, safety and wellness remains my main priority at this time. .
