We recently finished a major renovation on a home in Kanata. The impractical basement garage was closed in and waterproofed so it could be converted into a workshop, and an addition was built on the side of the house to serve as the new garage. The homeowners now have an updated and modernized layout, a beautiful garage with 11' ceilings and an amazing covered back porch to enjoy.

Another kitchen renovation completed. This time we replaced the builder basic tile, cabinets, countertops, and lighting and replaced it with these beautiful selections. A great place to make and enjoy family dinners or host a big group (because we know the kitchen is where the party happens!)

Our family recently purchased a new home. The 1984 build has a welcoming feel, with a traditional Tudor-style exterior, a bright and open foyer, curved staircase and large bay windows. Thank you to our good friend and realtor, Joanne Tibbles of Royal LePage Team Realty (www.joannetibbles.com), for helping us through the purchase! While updates have been made to the windows, roof, furnace and A/C, there are a number of other repairs and updates needed. The Tudor-style wood pan...elling on the 2nd story is in need of replacing. We will be updating the flooring, kitchen and bathrooms. To improve the flow of the house, we will also be removing a structural wall between the kitchen and family room, widening the doorway between the kitchen and dining room and opening up the mudroom by removing a closet and laundry area. The unfinished basement will be made into a recreation area, laundry room, guest bedroom and bathroom. We will be sure to post updates and pictures along the way.

It's true, we do a lot of kitchen, bathroom & basement renovations. This project brought us outside, to a home that had a bulky architectural feature along the roof line that was rotting and becoming dangerous. We removed it and rebuilt the roof line to open up the house making it look more modern but also allowing more sunshine through the windows. Matching the original cedar siding, the home looks like it was designed to look like this.
