Tonight as I go to bed and my training horses settle into there new stalls at Cristyhill Farm, I can’t help but be grateful for the amazing people & horses that have come into my life this past year... This time last year the business had just moved into Bohan Stables. A huge thank you to Mieke Boschmann , her family and the amazing boarders and clients that made this past (needless to say challenging year) allot of fun! I now get to look forward to 2021!! ... I do this with my amazing wife, my beautiful baby boy Joshua (who has been the biggest blessing 2020 has had to offer), a barn full of horses, great people and an awesome new facility. This beautiful gelding has once again shown me that going a little slower and at that particular horse’s pace is best. I have found time and again that when you lay a solid foundation without rushing to meet a time constraint of a certain amount of days, you would have helped develop a happy, confident horse that is willing to learn and please it’s rider. BACK TO BASICS: This really has been a great week to go back to the mother of all gates... the walk. A smoke free indoor has allowed me to keep riding and get back to improving and sharpening the basics on all my horses. Feeling truly grateful
