HEY FRIENDS...WE'RE BACK AT IT AGAIN!!!! Back in the spring Get Cronk'd Fitness Studio hosted an awesome 4 week long community event called the Physical Distanc...ing Fun Walk/Run. That event was met with so much enthusiasm. We had 62 participants from near AND far; and together we travelled over 6500 kms in 28 days. To help understand the magnitude of that accomplishment, that is MORE than the distance between Kelowna, B.C. and Gander, NL. Today we are excited to introduce the Get Cronk'd Fitness Studio Physical Distancing Fun Walk/Run 2.0. We invite you to COME TOGETHER WHILE STAYING APART as a community in the pursuit of fun, fresh air, exercise, community spirit, and healthy living. WHAT IS IT EXACTLY? It is a Fun Walk/Run for EVERYBODY. There are three categories of 4 week cumulative distance challenges to choose from; Gold Level = 60 km plus, Silver Level = 40 km plus; Bronze Level = 20 km plus. You choose your level upon registration. Eligible challenge activities include walking, running, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing. WHEN ARE WE TALKING ABOUT? Registration begins right now and run until January 31st at midnight. The duration of the event is 4 weeks; 12:01 a.m. February 1st until 11:59 p.m. March 1st. You participate at your leisure and track your own distance. WHAT DOES IT COST TO PARTICIPATE? The cost to register is $25.00. WHAT DOES YOUR FEE INCLUDE? a) all administration fees b) access to 5 quick and fun family workouts created by our coaching team c) access to a private Facebook group where you are encouraged to share results, stories, photos, challenges, and accomplishments d) an exclusive commemorative t-shirt Note: You can participate alone, with your spouse, your kids, or your neighbours provided you stay in groups of 5 or less and remain adequately physically distanced (unless of course you all live under the same roof).
