How many of you have started your tomato and pepper seeds?! Pro tip: tomato and pepper seeds are finicky when it comes to the temperature of the soil! Start your seed trays somewhere warm like the top of your fridge or place your seed trays on top of a magic bag (dont make it too hot and make sure the soil doesnt dry out!); a little bit of heat goes a long way!

The Kemptville Gardeners are looking for vendors for their upcoming Seedy Saturday event, to be held on February 29, 2020 at the Kemptville Campus Greenhouses, 75 Campus Drive Kemptville. Plain old envelopes work; some people use key envelopes and if youre feeling particularly crafty, you could fold some of your own using recycled news paper! Did you know the Greenhouses are now open to the public Tuesday and Thursday 10-2 annnnddddd they are also renting space to start seedings this year so if you dont have the space thats an awesome option!
