This custom order has got me right in the feels This fabric was designed and hand drawn by me, printed with all proceeds going to a wildlife organization in Australia following their recent wildfires... And now I get to sew with it! The icing on the cake is that this fabric is buttery soft and makes the cutest little outfits

Look at this Grow With Me Romper on Theo! The first photo is from when he was 4 months old, and the second is at 12 months... and he still has a bit of room to grow in it These are totally worth the investment because they last for so long! This one is size 3-12 months and still going strong (and Theo wears 12-18m clothes normally) I am still taking a very limited number of orders- my turn around time is a bit slower than usual because I am also working full time, but please feel free to message me to chat orders at any time and we can discuss!

Wondering what I’ve been working on? Things have been crazy here... being a teacher, I’ve been working full time doing virtual classes with my students... and doing that on top of being a mom has been busy, to say the least! But I’ve added a project to my to-do list, and have begun working with two of my friends on creating button headbands to donate to nurses and staff at local hospitals who need to wear masks all day. This will help take some of the pressure off of their ears! The first photo is some that I’ve completed, and the second is more that are cut and ready to be sewn I hope everybody is staying safe and healthy, and staying the blazes home!

With all of the anxiety and stress that everybody has been feeling over the past couple of weeks, why not share some good news! Remember the Australia fundraiser print that I was working on?? You ask, I deliver! I’ve had several requests for adult slippers in the high top/bootie style but I’ve avoided making them because they use SO much fabric that I just couldn’t price them in a way that I was happy with... until now! Introducing: the cuddle booties! These are a stretchy pull on slipper and they come in adult sizes and are available in ankle height (as pictured here) or mid height (which is about 4 inches higher from the ankle) Pricing for the ankle height ones ...is the exact same as the wrap slippers, and mid height ones are the same plus an additional $5. Also- this 90s nostalgia fabric is one of my very own designs and I think I want an entire wardrobe made out of it

In only a few days, my print has already raised over $200 within the sewing community for wildlife in Australia that have been devastated by the wildfires! Want to support my cause but don’t sew?? I am so excited!! Just got a big bag of fabric mail today... and guess what!? Every single one of the prints you see here were drawn and designed by ME!! It’s so so cool seeing my art work come to life!

Guys- how cool is this!? Excuse the crappy photos, but I’m too excited to wait until daylight! I sewed up this shirt for myself tonight using my very own fabric design! These cats are so fun, plus the shirt has nursing access so I can feed my little monster on the go!

Anybody else love some 90s nostalgia?

Update on my fabric design work! I now have 4 different Canadian fabric companies producing and selling my designs (and I’m currently in the process of working with a fifth!) Today I received my first piece of my own fabric design in the mail! These floral cats are one of my favourite designs, and I can’t wait to make myself something out of this super soft bamboo fabric!

I’ve definitely got the cutest little model for my makes! Theo rocks this slouchy Pom beanie Slouchy beanies are now available for custom orders!

Now that I’ve finished all of my Christmas orders, I decided to spend some time sewing for myself tonight, and made these slouchy beanies for my boy and I! Can’t wait to try that Pom hat on him tomorrow

Guess what!? Another fabric company is printing some of my art I was asked to design some hockey and motocross/dirt bike prints by Kiss My Stash Inc., so along came these, and some coordinating panels as well. They are currently available for preorder until December 5!

Working my way through some more custom orders. Here’s another pair of the adult wrap slippers... they are seriously the comfiest slippers and lined with the softest organic fleece and a wool lined sole for extra comfort and coziness... plus grippys on the bottom! You seriously need a pair of these! Still taking a few more orders for Christmas! :)

In addition to my sewing projects, I’ve been working on some really amazing projects with some Canadian fabric companies, and I am super excited to share that Pixel Weave Fabrics (based out of Edmonton) will be the first to run one of my own designs on their fabric! This means that my own artwork will be printed on fabric for other sewists to buy! This first print is being run as a surprise print- so top secret... but I can’t wait to show you all what it looks like!
